Terms & Conditions

§ 1 Scope and seller

1. These terms apply to all orders of the book “Seeds of Personal Growth” between you and Katharina Mayer, Thierschstraße 20, 80538 München, Germany, email kfm.mayer@gmail.com (“I”, “me”).
2. They apply to orders via seedsofpersonalgrowth.com and to orders placed by email.
3. Deviating terms only apply if I expressly agree to them in text form. Separate agreements may be made for bulk orders by companies, coaches and workshops.

§ 2 Conclusion of contract

1. The presentation of the book on the website is not a binding offer.
2. By completing the checkout with the button “Order with obligation to pay” (or equivalent), you place a binding order. The contract is concluded when I confirm the order by email or ship the book.
3. Before submitting, you can review all details and correct input errors. You will receive the contract details and these terms by email. Contract languages are English and German.

§ 3 Prices and offers

1. The prices shown at the time of the order apply. All prices are final prices including statutory VAT (currently 7% for books), plus shipping costs. The book is subject to German fixed book pricing (Buchpreisbindung); no discounts or voucher codes are offered.

§ 4 Shipping and delivery

1. I ship worldwide (Germany, EU and international). Shipping costs for your country are shown during checkout.
2. Delivery time is 2–4 working days after receipt of payment, unless stated otherwise.
3. If the book is temporarily unavailable, I will inform you immediately and refund any payments already made.

§ 5 Payment

1. Available payment methods are shown during checkout.
2. The purchase price is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.

§ 6 Retention of title

The book remains my property until full payment has been received.

§ 7 Right of withdrawal

1. As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving reasons. The period begins on the day you or a third party named by you (not the carrier) receives the book.
2. To exercise your right, send a clear statement (e.g. by email to kfm.mayer@gmail.com) before the period expires.
3. Please return the book within 14 days of your withdrawal. You bear the direct costs of return. I will refund all payments, including standard shipping costs, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, but may withhold the refund until I have received the book back.

5. You are only liable for any loss in value if it results from handling the book in a way that was not necessary to check its condition — for example writing in it.

§ 8 Warranty

Statutory warranty rights apply. If a book arrives damaged or with printing defects, please contact me by email and I will send you a replacement.

§ 9 Liability

I am liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence I am only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. The content of the book is for personal reflection and planning and does not replace professional advice.

§ 10 Copyright

Texts, illustrations and design of the book and website are protected by copyright. Reproduction or distribution, in whole or in part, requires my prior written consent.

§ 11 Final provisions

1. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law only applies insofar as it does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
2. Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
3. I am neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
